The Art of Applying Fake Eyelashes

Please watch my instructional video above for step by step demonstration of lash application.

1). Remove Boha lashes from the case

Gently pull them from either the outer or inner corner using your fingers or a tweezer.

2
) Measure the Lash & Trim any excess.
Rest the strip lash along your lash line to see whether you need to trim it to size. The strip should start where your natural bulk of eyelashes begin, if you start too close to the inner corner it will irritate your eyes. Trim any excess from the the outer corner. If you leave them hanging over, it can pull your eyes down making them look too heavy/droopy.

3) Curve your Boha Lashes in "C” position
Sometime lashes can flatten when you take them out of the case.  Secure the shape by holding the lashes and bending them gently in "C” shape position to help them curve in shape.

4) Apply the Glue
Line a thin layer of glue along the base of the lash, from corner to corner. Wait a few seconds for the glue to go tacky before application.  I like using Duo White glue because once the color change from white to dark blue,  it means its ready to be applied.

5) Use Tweezers
Remembering to place them where your natural bulk of eyelashes begin, look down and press the strip lash against your lash line in the centre, the outer edge and inner corner.

6) Bond Them Together & Lift if Necessary
Having mascara to start with lets you pinch and push your natural lashes and the false lashes together so they set well. Squeeze the strip lash down onto the natural lashes so you don't end up with a strip of skin between your lashes and the false lashes. Carefully use eyelash tweezers or simply your fingertips. If you want to create more uplift with your lashes, finish by gently brushing them up or pushing against the lashes at the edge of the inner lash line.
